Teaching

I've recently started teaching a sketching class at CCA here in San Francisco. It;s been pretty damn cool so far. I've always wanted to teach something, and so far Its been great. Its truly inspiring to be able to inspire others. Threw down a car demo to get the students excited at last weeks lecture. Check it out.

Into the unknown

I recently decided to leave my full time job at SOL Republic to start working as a freelance designer. It has been a while since I've felt nervous about what I was doing professionally and where my career was going, so it was time to change it up... I always feel like the situations where I've been most nervous and uncertain has been the best and most fruitful to me both professionally and personally. So, starting today, I'm stepping into unknown territory. And it feels Great!

Relays wins a Red Dot design award

I'm happy to announce that our Relays earbuds won the Red Dot design award. It was a long, challenging, yet fun project. It feels good that all the hard work we put behind these little guys are recognized with an award, and even better; that people seem to love them.

Introducing the Saviors of Sound Snow team

SOL Republic introduces our Savior of Sound Snow team. Stoked to have these guys onboard. Hopefully I'll get a chance to shred with them this season. I guess I can trade them some snowboarding knowledge for photoshop skills :)
